Temperature Programmed Desorption(TPD) and Scanning Tunneling Microscopy(STM) of Isolated Vanadium Oxide Nanocluster

Bio

Sebastian is currently a CCS Chemistry/Biochemistry undergraduate student at UCSB. He joined the Buratto group at the end of his first year in 2012; he works under the mentorship of Hunter Nielson to employ techniques such as temperature programmed desorption (TPD), scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), and X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) to understand the catalytic behavior of isolated vanadium oxide nanoclusters deposited on a rutile TiO2(110) substrate. Sebastion is now working on his Ph.D. in Tom Miller's research group at Cal Tech.
